Another sound story.

Part One

As soon as I walk in I can hear the hum of people talking in English, Japanese, Chinese, some languages I don't even know coming out of different doors, looking super jet lagged and tired. I try to think but it is to noisy, like a massive chant, La, Bonjour, Sup, Wow, Konnichiwa, all together making it sound like a loud chant.

We head to the check in area but first get our suitcase bag tag thing. Beep Beep it scans our plane tickets and then prints our bag tag. " What" my dad says. I read the machine's screen it says that it doesn't think our flight is actually going to happen. We look around and see other confused faces. " What's going on" my sister asks?

So we've been at the airport 5 minutes and already we're super confused. We go to the help desk, but before we get there their are these people who are on the same flight as us that we talk to. We look up on the screen that says the flights coming and departure, we somehow learn that our flight is cancelled because there wasn't enough people on the flight. Stomp Stomp Stomp Stomp, suddenly a heap of people start rushing to the help desk, all wanting to know one thing. What flight were we going to go on now?

The Beach

                                        Dog

I can hear the sound of a dog splashing in the sea the water flying everywhere splash splash splash                                                                                        Woof Woof Woof.

                                Waves

                I hear the sounds of the waves overlapping the beach whoosh splish splash.

                                   Children

         I hear the sound of children laughing blissfully well playing on the beach. Ha ha ha.

                                  Seagulls

 I wish not to hear the sound of the seagull screeching non stop, annoying everyone that can hear it.

                             Motor Boat

        In the distance I can hear a motor boat, its engine making a racket. Vroom Vroom.

                     Split splat the calming waves gently touched the children's feet.

                    Chirp chirp screech the sound of annoying sea birds filled the air.

                               Splashing through the waves splash splash.

                                                         Motor boat

Thomas Goes Flying!

My holiday

My brother went to the Canterbury Aro club for a flight. The first thing I saw was a massive mega monstrous plane. But then my mum told me that was not the plane that Thomas was going in then I looked down and I saw a tiny plane it was the size of a pea. The pilot took 10 minutes then he asked where Thomas wanted to go. When they took of I saw a Hercules I said where are they going bro? Then my mum said there going to Antarctica, what! That's minus billion degrees," my mum got me and my sister a drink and a chocolate bar and I said "thanks mum." then Kate spilt her drink, I told her off and she started to cry. Then Thomas landed then we went home.

The Car Trip

The Car Trip Getting in to my Dads massive monster truck I tell my little sister to ’’zip it!’ ’because James's eyes where all ready glued shut lying there in his little  swag pants peacefully sleeping but of course Cate couldn't keep her mouth shut for five seconds and started blurting out stuff, LOL not... James eye lids were trembling one last shsh made her mouth zip well least I thought so.... We set off to Timaru in Dad's cram packed car and due to Cate talking James deliberately woke up and that's where the chronicle of three year old talk comes in, but no time for that let's start this story for real, the car was a bit munted with all the stuff in there it was hot and I mean really hot, it was like some giant came and picked up the car and through us to the sun. I could feel myself fading away until we reached Ashburton we were saved! MC DONALDS time, Me Dad and James went in but he bursted in to tears in but somehow we survived and brought the energy back to the car and ate up 1 HOUR LATER .We are nearly home the song The Base is on, like a bunch of drunk monkeys we sang it together. We where home I felt like zapping myself to Hawii you may think jess she can't cope with a two hour drive well let me tell you this I think you would be tired if your siblings were yelling at you the whole car ride Bre I'm hungry Bre I'm thirsty Bre Bre Bre Bre Bre ok I guess you understand, now if you would excuse me I've got some sleep to catch up on!                                   P.S < I’M NOT CRAZY>

Living Springs Camp

Living Springs Camp

                                                                                                            In the holidays me and my sister went to Living Springs with Sophie and her annoying brother Daniel. The camp was for 5 days. When we got there we got told what cabin we were in and went there with our two leaders. Luckily me and Sophie were in the same cabin because if we weren’t I would die. Our leaders names were Sam and Georgie, well Georgie’s nickname was Georgie, I don’t know her real name. We were in cabin number 11 out of 18 cabins. I didn’t have any stuffed animals but everyone else did. Sophie had an awesome Minecraft pig that looked like a pink creeper. Every day felt so long it was great though. every day for morning tea we had fudge, cake, fruit and  same for afternoon tea. Breakfast we had rice’s, corn flakes toast and on our toast we had jam, marmite or butter. Lunch Salad, lasagne yum!. Dinner was hot dogs hamburgers and finally pudding ice cream and on the last day we made our own pudding with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, ice cream and more. Any way let’s get talking about other stuff like R.E.C in other words free time. In R.E.C we had lots of activities like the Monorail, waterslide, chill room, pool, make pretty perfect pancakes, balance bikes, basketball, fun flying fox as you can see it was awesome. But wait, I’ve got more. Every day we have a six row rotation there are adventure creak, the pool, slingshot paintballs, archery air riffles, Dons shed, and bush walk. We also had auctions were you can get lollies, prize’s like masks, a car that you could make move by blowing up a balloon that was attached to it, I got that. You could also get a massive lolly brick that was like a metre both ways Wow! Right. My cabin number 11 got one of those we got to take some home with us. To get this stuff you earned fake money from sitting up nicely getting answers right to showed you listened, and every night you got 1000 dollars if you got to bed without talking but you could get money taken of you if you were being very loud. That was the end home time bye bye living springs.

­What Now with Friends

I was waiting at the window for years for Aoraki and Cooper to pick me up Finally they came I was jumping with joy. When we arrived at the studio, after waiting endlessly, I sprinted out of the car and raced to the main entrance. When I went in the, massive glass, door. Aoraki suddenly told me that we were VIP. So Cooper and I followed Aoraki down the hall way to the kitchen there was Ronnie! We took some photos with Ronnie and some rabbits. At about 7:30 AM we got ready to go in the studio. When we went in we got to sit on the front. Finally the show started the staff told us to shout ‘yay’ or ‘woohoo’ and get all crazy so we did! When Adam said we were going to break world’s records I couldn’t believe it Cooper or Aoraki never told me something like World’s record before. So the first challenge was the moon hopper challenge. It was Ronnie VS Adam when the race started Ronnie was a rocket that was bursting to the lead but the problem was Ronnie lost control and he tipped to the ground and that was the chance! Adam zoomed pass him to the finish line. He won! But the reason of this game was to beat the world record but unfortunately we got wasted by the world record breaker . After we came back from outside Aoraki played a game called Say it don’t Spray it (which is a game to do tongue twister) he bet all the people so he won a puffy pillow pet. Later... Cooper played a game that he needs to break a egg shell and eat it but Cooper was the lucky last place. The time went so fast that I didn’t notice. About the last minute they setted up this gunge thing. Most of the audience got to be gunged, by the parents. Suddenly Gem said”Go!” suddenly the parent behind me dropped a whole bucket of gunge right on my tip of my hair. The gooy gunge shivered down my body I was a cactus living in Antarctica. My friends felt the same thing as me. suddenly the show ended we raced to the bathroom and washed hair straight away. After a washing while Aoraki’s mum let us to have pictures with Gem, Adem and Ronnie. After that we had to go we went back in the car and drove back home.

The Maze

The Maze

I was in the middle of a labyrinth. I was following my teammates around like a zombie, I tried to help but they ignored me as always. After there 100^th fail I tried to take on the labyrinth by my self. In an hour I was in the middle of nowhere, not a foot print in site, my feet twisted and turned until I was on a deserted island and all that was on it was me. And then I let my feet carry me around the maze so I could think and suddenly I escaped! I was the first one out of course and I enjoyed a delicious ice cream. And as everyone came out so surprised that I had come out first so as we went home to have a BBQ my dad asked “how did you get out so fast?” and all I said was “I let my feet carry me”. i had a lot of fun at the BBQ all my cousins came over and we played cops and robbers it was really fun. And then we watched a movie it was called legally blonde it was really funny and then we went to bed. But I stayed up all night wondering how I got out of the labyrinth and how did I get out first when everyone started before I went off on my own. But no one will ever no. and thinking of that for a while I fell asleep. By EmmaJ        

The Bomb

Yay!!!!!

I'm going to Shawn's house for a sleepover and I'm So Excited . It felt like I had been waiting for years .

The first thing we do is watch Episode One of Flash which is a awesome episode. We then sort out where we are going to sleep and decide to sleep in the living room. Once we have sorted out that we decide to go to time zone so we start walking there.

Once we get to time zone we played heaps of games and they had new games there like monopoly and connect four ( which didn't seem to be working cause it  started spewing out tickets, yay more for us ). Then we went in the photo both and the rollercoaster ride. Because everything was so cool Shawn ended up spending $40 of her allowance. In the end we got 488 tickets and spent them on a wonka chocolate bar each ( OH no golden ticket for us ) , 3 Lolly Hamburgers , a little kids toy sucky ship cause we couldn't decide on anything else, and these awesome water bombs.

Shawn:

                                  Splash splash water flying every, I was completely drenched in water . It felt like I was going to freeze to death . I was as cold as a ice cube . I threw a water bomb back at , she  looked back at me in frustration  . "I'll  get you " she called out  And held up the big slippery snake suddenly water came out from the front of the snake. I run and run and run then bang i slip and hit the wet concrete . I don't stop though I try to grab another water bomb but it slips out of my hand "no" I said   I finally pick up a few water bombs . I threw them at her like a machine gun none stop .  I was a soldier fighting I wouldn't  stop until I won but it didn't  seem like I would . I was as tired as a cat that  Had been up all night chasing birds and rats . I felt like running inside and drinking some hot chocolate and sitting in front of the  fire place . But instead got dressed and  had a nice lunch with my friend then played with my playfully dog Sandi the end bye!

Rebecca:

Splash, AHHH, we had gotten back home and had started a awesome waterfight,     we used our water bombs, the hose and a bucket of water.  Once everything was wet enough we grabbed a few water bombs counted to ten then threw excitedly at each other non-stop like a war zone. I thought I had won the war but no, Neither of us had won we had just stopped. We put the water bombs back in the bucket and rested for a bit then we took turns at standing still and then the other person had to throw water at us. After that we had another water fight Shawn got the bucket fill of water and I got the hose that was the time that we really got super soaked. We used our ship in another bucket we found and we put the shopkins on it. The boat just completely turned upside down then sunk down to the bottom with the scared shopkins. Once we got the shopkins out we mucked around with the boat for a bit then got ourselves even more soaked if that was possible then went back inside.

Okay so I'm gonna miss quite a bit of the day and the next day but I'll tell you I made a really weird smoothie that actually tasted okay it included maple syrup, Frozen Raspberries, Milk, Drinking Chocolate and lots of other weird stuff. We went to McDonalds for dinner and breakfast but we couldn't have it again for lunch so we had sushi. And we did other awesome stuff too. So I guess that's the end of the story.

The Smallest Plane I've Been in!

I wasn’t quite sure how we were going to get five people and four bikes on to the tiny plane.  The pilot started fitting some strange contraptions to the underside of the wings.  The small plane was transformed and it started to look more like a modern day robot pterydactyl!

Now inside, strapped in, headphones and microphones fitted.  We were pilots of a World War II miniature bomber.  Ready for take off.  Roger that.  You're good to go.  The plane lurched into action and accelerated quickly towards the end of the runway.  The end of the runway.  The end of the runway!  The skyeeeee!  Zooom!

With surprisingly little effort we slipped through the sky like a speeding bullet.  The ground far below us now, and us, and our plane, and the bikes hanging under the wings held in the sky by invisible strings.  Just a disappearing dot in someone else eye looking up.

Half way to our destination we were hit by invisible gun fire.  The plane bounced like a ball in water.  Always staying afloat but sometimes moving unpredictably so as to make your stomach wish that it was back on the ground.  With so much to see from our birds eye view the time past quickly and before we knew it we were dropping back towards the ground.  But where?  I couldn’t see a runway.  Oh you mean that bumpy field… Hang on.  Here we go...

My field of view was filled with green and then only sky.  I felt the sudden kick and grasp of the ground pulling at the wheels.  The engine roars one last time and 

we
